Nico Heinz & Fabio De Magistris, arriva la scatenata "For DJs" (Atomika / Jaywork Music) Nico Heinz & Fabio De Magistris (nella foto) sono una coppia scatenata di DJ. Insieme o da soli, fanno ballare l'Italia da diversi decenni. Il loro nuovo singolo è una bomba decisamente essenziale che esce il 18 ottobre 2026 su Atomika / Jaywork Music. 2/10 Aspettando Illiria Festival con Killer Faber @ Epoca Grill & Pizza - Terzzo d'Adda (BG), dalle 18 alle 24 Aspettando Illiria Festival è una festa elettronica, per tutti. Prende vita venerdì 2 ottobre ad Epoca Grill & Pizza - Terzzo d'Adda (BG). Dove, non si mangiano soltanto, come sempre, ottimi piatti, soprattutto carne alla griglia e pizza. Per una sola sera, si ascolta ottima musica elettronica, dalle 18 alle 24. Al mixer c'è infatti Killer Faber (nella foto) uno dei DJ italiani più stimati quando si parla di techno e musica elettronica in generale. Va in scena, come dicevamo, un Aperishow intitolato "Aspettando Illiria Festival". Il dj set di Killer Faber è infatti anche la presentazione di un festival in programma a marzo 2027, nel Nord Italia, un evento dedicato al mitico Illiria di Madone (Bergamo), club che per tutti gli anni '90, ogni venerdì notte, ha fatto scatenare l'Italia a ritmo di techno. Come il Cocoricò e pochissimi altri spazi, l'Illiria ha fatto scuola dal punto di vista del sound e non solo. «Tutto cambia e oggi la techno sta vivendo una nuova e bella giovinezza, cosa che in pochi avevano previsto», spiega Killer Faber, che ha un'energia contagiosa. Anche se fa senz'altro parte dell'Old School, non guarda al passato, ma al futuro e al presente. Come passare, ad esempio, sound ed esperienza ai giovani DJ. «Chi l'avrebbe detto, qualche anno fa, che anche in Italia tanti grandi eventi, festival e non solo, avrebbero riempito i luoghi da concerto e le piazze italiane? La techno ha infinite sfumature e ognuno può trovare la sua. Se poi allarghiamo il discorso alla dance, chi avrebbe previsto solo pochi anni fa che Gabry Ponte avrebbe riempito San Siro per due anni di fila?». La techno, da fenomeno di nicchia, oggi è diventata anche mainstream. «Non è una cosa necessariamente negativa. Anzi, certi sottogeneri di elettronica non avranno mai un seguito davvero ampio. La house e la techno, invece, con le loro infinite sfumature, potranno coinvolgere, anche grazie al nostro Illiria Festival.... Che guarderà al futuro e non solo al passato... Invece di una noiosa presentazione parlata, il 2 ottobre da Epoca Grill & Pizza - Terzzo D'Adda, locale di Denys Maiorino che con me sta organizzando il festival, abbiamo pensato ad un Aperyshow tutto da vivere». Ma cos'era l'Illiria? In quegli anni il club diventa un punto di riferimento per una generazione che vive la trasformazione della nightlife italiana da semplice intrattenimento a vero fenomeno culturale. La programmazione e il contesto dell’Illiria hanno visto transitare alcuni dei protagonisti più importanti della scena elettronica italiana e internazionale, tra cui Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk, Claudio Coccoluto, Cirillo, Mario Più, Ricky Le Roy, Ricci, Ezio Vallini, Francino, Principe Maurice e numerosi altri artisti che hanno contribuito a definire l’identità di quegli anni. Tutto questo tornerà presto a vivere in un festival e il miglior modo per iniziare a ballare è passare da Epoca Grill & Pizza - Terzzo d'Adda (BG) venerdì 2 ottobre dalle 18 alle 24, quando prende vita Aspettando Illiria Festival. CHI E' KILLER FABER? Killer Faber, nome d’arte di Fabio Desogus, è un DJ e producer italiano attivo dalla fine degli anni Ottanta, con un percorso costruito dentro l’evoluzione della club culture italiana ed europea. La sua storia artistica, da sempre legata alla techno, non nasce da un progetto costruito a posteriori, ma da una presenza continuativa in un settore che, tra la fine degli anni Ottanta e gli anni Novanta, stava definendo linguaggi, spazi, codici e identità della musica elettronica contemporanea. L’inizio dell’attività professionale risale al 1987, a Milano, in una fase in cui il ruolo del DJ stava cambiando radicalmente. La carriera di Killer Faber si sviluppa, durante e dopo l'importante esperienza dell'Illiria, anche fuori dall’Italia. L’attività internazionale lo porta in Svizzera, Germania, Austria, Francia, Regno Unito, Slovenia, Ibiza e in altri contesti europei, con partecipazioni a manifestazioni e circuiti legati alla cultura elettronica. Tra le esperienze più significative rientrano diverse edizioni della Love Parade di Berlino e della Street Parade di Zurigo, oltre ad altri eventi e festival che hanno rappresentato momenti fondamentali della diffusione della cultura techno in Europa. Oggi Killer Faber rappresenta quindi un punto di collegamento tra due epoche: quella pionieristica della nightlife italiana degli anni Novanta e quella contemporanea dominata da festival, piattaforme digitali e produzione globale.
